Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho is pleased to announce it has received a $3,000 gift from the Kissler Family Foundation Philanthropic Gift Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation.
These funds, donated in December 2025 during the Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge, will support Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho’s affordable housing and home repair programs in Kootenai County. The nonprofit is in the process of building energy-efficient condominium style homes for 21 families in Coeur d’Alene.
The grant will also support A Brush With Kindness, Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho’s home repair program. The program provides simple home repairs for low-income homeowners in Kootenai County including house painting, yard cleanup, accessibility, critical repairs and weatherization.
